What this version collects

We only ask which country you're from — never your passport number or ID.

The pages on this site do not ask for your name, your email, or a passport number. There is no form, no mailing list, and no account. Downloading the Paris sample does not ask who you are. When paid plans open, the question is nationality: the country you are a citizen of.

The PDF is a generic sample for a hotel area on Rue de Rivoli. It does not contain your name, your booking, or a private address.

We do not ask for passport numbers, document scans, health details, or payment card numbers. There is no checkout.

Two kinds of data can still exist. The host keeps ordinary connection logs, and if you email us we receive what you send. Both are described below.

Hosting logs

The site is hosted by Vercel Inc. (USA). Like any web host, Vercel processes connection data (IP address, browser type, page requested, time) to serve the site and keep it secure. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: running a working, secure website. Vercel may process this data outside the UK, including in the USA. Its data processing addendum uses the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK international data transfer addendum for those transfers. We don't use it to profile visitors. Vercel keeps these logs for a short period set by its own policy.

Emails

If you email hello@staysafeanywhere.com we receive your email address, name and whatever you write. We use it only to reply (legitimate interests). Mail is forwarded by ImprovMX and stored with Google (Gmail), which may process it outside the UK under their own safeguards. We delete correspondence when it's no longer needed, normally within 24 months.

Cookies and analytics

This site does not set analytics or advertising cookies of its own. There is no third-party form embedded in the page.

Rights and complaints

You have the right to ask for a copy of your data, to correct or delete it, to restrict how we use it, and to move it. You can object at any time to our use of your data based on legitimate interests. To complain about how we handle your data, email hello@staysafeanywhere.com. We'll acknowledge within 30 days and tell you the outcome. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office: ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113.

Paid plans, when they exist, will need a fuller notice before they collect an address, household details, or anything about health. None of that is collected here.

Children

The site is written for adults planning a trip or a home. We do not ask for a child's details.
